PRIS LAURA AND BII CARRY UASIN GISHU FLAG AT KTA
On February 20, 2025, the Kenya National Theatre hosted the 4th Annual Kenya Theatre Awards, celebrating outstanding achievements in the country's theatre industry. The event highlighted exceptional talent and productions that have graced Kenyan stages over the past year.
Top Honorees of the Night
Chatterbox's production, "Lwanda Otero," emerged as a dominant force, securing ten awards. The play captivated audiences and critics alike, earning accolades across various categories. Another notable production, "Too Early for Birds: Tom Mboya," received four awards, including the prestigious Best Director award.
Individual Achievements
Auudi Rowa was honored with the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical for her portrayal of Leng Zee. In the youth categories, Woodcreek School's Ariana Kanyua won Best Performance by a Young Female Actor, and the school's production team received the Best Set Design award.

Pris Laura Achieng
Pris Laura Achieng delivered a compelling performance in the monologue "Noisemakers," earning her the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Monologue. Her portrayal of the character Nyambu resonated with audiences and critics alike, showcasing her versatility and depth as an actor.
